Equine Retirement Boarding Program
Our special Equine Retirement Program was created with the senior horse's needs in mind. It was designed to give horse owners a practical way to retire their beloved equine partners and know they will be well cared for by experienced and compassionate staff. We take pride in the peaceful nature of the environment we maintain.
Our large, green pastures dotted with live oaks are ideal for giving the senior horse adequate amount of room to roam and graze combined with plenty of shade. Owners will be kept up to date with pictures, especially for those located at a distance.
Horses who qualify for this program are those who are no longer ridden and in need of a peaceful, caring environment to live out their life. They can be of any age or breed.
We ask owners to provide, fly mask and fly sheet as well as and rain sheet and turnout blanket. Owners are also responsible for veterinary care, yearly vaccinations and any special shoeing required. Please Note: We do not allow horses with hind shoes to be pastured with others for safety reasons.
We have two options for retirement boarding. Both options include:
Option 1- Pasture Board Retirement
Retirees are out in the pasture 24/7. Stalls available for extreme weather or if needed under special circumstances. $585/month
Option 2- Stall Board Retirement
Same as above except Retirees are in the stall for half the day with daily stall cleaning. They come in with a fan during the summer months and in for the evenings during the winter months. All stalls are a minimum of 14'X14'. $875/month
